25.5cm x 20.5cm including frame | Ink Drawing on Smooth Hot Pressed Daler Rowney Watercolour Paper

‘Lacock Light' by Claire Leach is an original ink drawing made on smooth hot pressed Daler Rowney watercolour paper measuring 10cm x 15cm (25.5cm x 20.5cm including frame). The drawing has been signed, titled and dated on the reverse.

The drawing was made with ink and brush, through a process of layering diluted ink, scrubbing it away with water, allowing to dry and repeating several times before adding details with concentrated ink and a super fine brush. This process allows for organic marks to be made and creates atmosphere within the work. This drawing was inspired by a sunny day at Lacock Abbey in Wiltshire. 

This drawing has been float mounted in a high quality bespoke frame with Artglass™️ which is anti reflective and scratch resistant with UV protection. Fitted with string ready to be hung.

Exhibited at Talos Art Gallery Summer Exhibition 2026.
