‘The Long Loop at Nagshead I' by Claire Leach is an original pen drawing made on smooth hot pressed Daler Rowney watercolour paper measuring 21cm x 14.9cm (27.5cm x 20.5cm including frame). The drawing has been signed, titled and dated on the reverse. Professionally framed in wood painted black with anti-reflective, UV protected Artglass™.

The Long Loop at Nagshead I was inspired by a walk in the Nagshead Nature Reserve in Parkend in November 2021 with my partner and young son. November is my favourite time to visit the Forest of Dean as the trees put on their most spectacular display of colours. On the day when I took the photograph that I worked from it was misty and atmospheric, the path disappeared in the lingering fog and seemed to emphasise the slanting horizon line.

Framed in wood painted black with anti-reflective, UV protected Artglass™ which is anti reflective and scratch resistant with UV protection. Fitted with string ready to be hung.
