‘The Long Loop at Nagshead II' by Claire Leach is an original pen drawing made on smooth hot pressed Daler Rowney watercolour paper measuring 21cm x 14.9cm (27.5cm x 20.5cm including frame). The drawing has been signed, titled and dated on the reverse. Professionally framed in wood painted black with anti-reflective, UV protected Artglass™.

The Long Loop at Nagshead II was inspired by a walk in the Nagshead Nature Reserve in Parkend in November 2021 with my partner and young son. November is my favourite time to visit the Forest of Dean as the trees put on their most spectacular display of colours. Leaves littered the pathway which I’ve tried to capture in the drawing, a mixture of squiggles and lines conceal simple leaf motifs. I particularly enjoyed drawing the tangle of fallen twigs and branches on the right-hand side of the path.

Framed in wood painted black with anti-reflective, UV protected Artglass™ which is anti reflective and scratch resistant with UV protection. Fitted with string ready to be hung.
